Scott Hysler

Scott got his start in the senior housing and multi-family housing industry after retiring from a successful and dignified 22-year career in the U.S. Navy. After retiring, Scott worked for Pulte Homes and Del Webb opening the first Active Adult communities on the east coast. Scott also worked as a VP for a senior housing firm out west and as a Regional Director responsible for 9 communities in 5 states. Prior to coming on board with DRP in December 2021, Scott was an Asset Manager and Regional Director for a large firm in Miami where he was responsible for management, new land and community acquisitions in 4 states up thru NH. After moving to VA, Scott managed several large multi-family communities in the Richmond area as well as a new lease-up for DRP – where achieved 100% occupancy in 10 months.

Scott is an avid distance runner and in his spare time loves hiking, kayaking and anything outdoors. On the weekends, Scott is an avid furniture builder and craftsman.
