Dominion Realty Partners Welcomes Vice President to Lead their Asset Management Group & New Strategic Client Account

Richmond, VA (Date) – Dominion Realty Partners, LLC (DRP) is pleased to announce that Gregory Maziarz has joined the team as Vice President of Asset Management to lead their Asset Management services.  Mr. Maziarz most recently served as Director of Asset Services for Cushman & Wakefield in the Washington DC & Northern Virginia markets, where he led multiple client accounts with over 3 million square feet of commercial properties for 2 ½ years.  Prior to that, Mr. Maziarz served as a Portfolio Manager with The RMR Group where he successfully managed over 6 million square feet for multiple REIT’s in commercial, industrial & retail properties during his 15-year tenure with the company.  Mr. Maziarz’s experience with property management, M&A transitions, due diligence, operational and financial management provides thorough insight into the asset management services that DRP provides to its clients. Additionally, Mr. Maziarz will spearhead the company’s effort to expand its service lines into additional third party management opportunities.

Mr. Maziarz holds a B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University, and is currently working towards receiving his Master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown University. Mr. Maziarz is an experienced veteran in the real estate industry, spanning over 18 years in the Mid-Atlantic region. His leadership and team-building skills will align greatly with DRP and their clients. 

(Dairy Market, Charlottesville, VA – Stony Point Development Group)

DRP is also pleased to announce that it has retained all asset and property management services for the Stony Point Development Group (SPDG) based in Charlottesville, VA.  SPDG’s assets currently consist of 647 Multifamily Units, and 96,000 square feet of commercial & retail space.  The properties are in Raleigh, NC, Richmond, VA and Charlottesville, VA.  The Charlottesville market is a new market for DRP’s management services. The firm hopes to continue to further expand their management book of business here.

While Charlottesville is a new market for DRP for management services, it led the development of the 5th Street Place Apartments, which was delivered in 2018.  The project consisted of consists of 200 Class A garden style apartments located on 5th Street, directly off Interstate 64 in southern Charlottesville. Additionally, DRP recently broke ground on the Rio Road Apartment complex, which is targeted to be delivered in the Summer of 2025. The community will bring 328 units, 15% of which will be dedicated as affordable, to the Charlottesville market at the corner of John Warner Parkway and Rio Road.
