Dominion Realty Partners

Hello everyone,

In a note last week, I shared thoughts on the critical role volunteers play in leveraging their expertise to advance our mission and drive meaningful progress for the organization. Today, I’m thrilled to announce a perfect example of that principle in action: Andy Andrews will be rejoining the USTA as a Presidential Appointee, bringing his extraordinary expertise and dedication back to our community.  Andy has a remarkable history with us, having served as a former board member and officer, and as a key contributor to some of our most important projects, including the strategic transformation at the National Tennis Center (NTC), the construction of the National Campus in Lake Nona, and improvements at the Cincinnati Open—all of which were brought in on time and on budget.

Andy’s return comes at a pivotal time as we embark on a $750 million redevelopment project at the NTC. He brings a deep understanding of complex projects, well-established relationships with our staff and construction consultants, and steady, experienced leadership, which will be critical in navigating the complexities of this ambitious undertaking.   Additionally, Andy has agreed to provide support on the construction projects at the National Campus in Lake Nona, where we will host the NCAA Division I Championships for 10 years beginning in 2028.

I would be remiss not to acknowledge the circumstances under which Andy stepped away from his prior involvement with the USTA. The untimely and heartbreaking loss of his daughter Rhyne—a young woman who shared a profound love for our sport—was a moment of great sorrow for Andy and for all of us who had the privilege of knowing his family. Her memory remains a poignant reminder of the impact tennis has on lives, a passion that Andy continues to carry forward with great resolve.

Andy’s return is a testament to the unique strength of our organizational model, where volunteers contribute their professional expertise to enhance the capacity of our staff and further our shared mission. It is through partnerships like these that we are able to achieve extraordinary outcomes and extend the reach of our impact.

Please join me in expressing our deepest gratitude to Andy Andrews for his continued commitment to our organization and his willingness to help lead us through this next chapter. His leadership is not only a reflection of his own exceptional abilities but also of the enduring power of community and collaboration that defines who we are.

Thank you for your support as we move forward together.

Best,
