Beau McIntosh is a Partner with Dominion Realty Partners and manages the firm’s Charlotte office. He is responsible for overseeing office and multi-family acquisitions as well as the development of multi-family, office, and mixed use projects in and around the Charlotte MSA. Beau began his career in public accounting with both Deloitte and KPMG, where he worked as a consultant in private client tax services. Prior to joining DRP, Beau was a founding partner of Capstone Apartment Partners, a multi-family investment sales brokerage firm with offices across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. While serving as Managing Partner at Capstone, Beau was a partner in the formation of multiple real estate companies, including Capstone Capital (debt and equity origination) and Capstone Multi-Family Group (property management services). Throughout his career to date, Beau has been involved in various capacities in a variety of real estate development projects, investments, and asset transactions totaling over $1.5B of value.
Beau attended West Virginia University for both his undergraduate business degree and his Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations, which he earned in 2003. In 2011, he earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte, concentrating in Commercial Real Estate Finance and Development. Beau is a member of the National Multi-Family Housing Council's Emerging Leaders, as well as the Urban Land Institute where he has served on multiple Young Leaders Partnership Forums. He also serves as co-chair of the United Way Young Leaders Council and is a Board Member of the Dowd YMCA in Charlotte. In 2013, Beau was selected as one of the Charlotte Business Journal's "40 Under 40" - a recognition granted by the publication to the area's most successful up and coming business professionals. Beau lives in Charlotte with his wife and two daughters.
